I've got a couple of new sites up: Bethany Guest house, in my town of Minehead A Taste of Exmoor is a local catering company. The site is a re-launch and is run by the same people as Bethany Guest House Le Tour de Twit lists Road cyclists who are on Twitter (I did it for fun!) Get Natural is a UK based natural health supplements supplier and Naturopathic Doctor.

James,

I see that you used on cushycms on the Get Natural site - cool! Can you share what you used for the e-commerce functionality? Or is it custom programmed?

The e-commerce is magento. It's amazing although it takes some getting your head around! I used cushy for the 'pages' so my client didn't have to use the magneto pages bit (which is the weakest element of the program)

Ah, I see. James, have you worked with Magento before? Steep learning curve?

No, was the first time with Magento. The hard part is learning the template system, but once you have it makes sense!

The 'for designers' bit on the magento site is well worth a read and helps to explain it. It really is great to use though and the admin side is just amazing. My client was on zencart before and can't believe how much easier it is to use for her!
